The Queen will be visiting Leicester City on Thursday 8th March 2012 to begin her Diamond Jubilee tour. Her Majesty the Queen will be accompanied by the Royal Highnesses the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Cambridge.

Over 10,000 Union Jack flags and over 1,000 meters of decoration will be delivered to Leicester City Council for this royal occasion.

The royal party will visit De Montfort University and Leicester Cathedral, where they will have lunch, before making their way to the Clock Tower in the city centre.
