MASTERPIECES is a contemporary take on a Søren Georg Jensen piece first created in 1960.
Georg Jensen began as a silversmith workshop. The MASTERPIECES collection pays tribute to this legacy but updates the style and material to give it a current edge. The candlestick was originally created in 1960 as an altar candle for use in a modern Scandinavian-style church.
The 2007 version is in stainless steel and holds two tapered candles–the effect is striking. The structure of the candleholder is in many ways an iconic example of clean-lined Danish design of the post-World War II era.

For example, in one of the fonts - 'Victoria' - the letter 'V' looks similar to the letter 'D' because of the italic serif design. Once an item has been engraved we cannot refund or exchange it, because we will not be able to resell an engraved item.
