We are pleased to introduce you to the newest addition to the John F. Kennedy collection by Montblanc. This stunning Bordeaux and gold coloured pen has been designed to commemorate John F. Kennedy who was one of the most revered figures in modern history. He spent time in the U.S. Navy, the Apollo space programme and mostly known as an American politician who served as the 35th president of the United States of America. JFK was sadly assassinated in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald who was later arrested for the crime however was never prosecuted due to his murder by Jack Ruby. Many believed he was a victim of conspiracy. This fountain pen by Montblanc has been created in his memory. JFK who he is mostly known as was a very ambitious man.

In the collection there is a ballpoint pen, rollerball pen and of course a fountain pen. The collection of writing instruments have symbolic and design references to his life and career. The pen barrel has been crafted from a polished Bordeaux coloured precious resin with a matching cap which references to Kennedy’s famous Ivy League style and is inspired by his time at Harvard University. The clip has three rings around the bottom which are gold-plated these refer to his three brothers. On the side of the cap there is a gold-plated clip with the famous Ivy League styled 'JFK; initials engraved into the metal. Of course it wouldn't be a Montblanc pen without the Montblanc black and white enamel emblem marking the peak of the Montblanc Mountain. The Montblanc brand name has been engraved faintly into the final ring around the bottom of the cap for subtle branding purposes. The cap screws off to reveal the nib of the fountain pen; this interestingly has been engraved into with reference to the Apollo space programme; an elegant engraving of the Lunar Module which landed on the moon in 1969 is featured on the 14K hand crafted gold nib.

Each of the pen's in the collection come packaged inside a bespoke Montblanc JFK presentation box with a two year warranty certificate and the JFK brochure with information about him and his life.
