Montblanc started their journey to becoming one of the leading writing instrument brands in 1906 when Alfred Nehemias and August Eberstein decided to create simplicissimus pens. During this period, Wilhelm Dziambor, Christian Lausen and Claus Johannes Voss took over the business and created the beginning of what would be an internationally triumphant brand Montblanc. Montblanc made the bold claim of being manufactures of 'high-class gold and fountain pens'. 1924 marks the year of the iconic Meisterstück collection that is still growing to this day.

Fountain Pens

Montblanc fountain pens are what made them the brand they are today. From 1929 onwards all Montblanc fountain pens have been engraved with '4810' to represent the height of the Mont Blanc mountain.
