Radley are a London born brand who over the years have built a successful fun spirited design label for women who are passionate and inspired by life. The brand blends colour, character and functionality to create collections that embrace quality and style. Radley was originally founded in London, England by a young entrepreneur named Lowell Harder; she started her handbag journey in Camden Market in the 1980s with a few other start up companies. She was driven by colour, luxury and carefully considered design which is how she then went on to launch Radley in 1998; which is when the first design was produced ‘The Pocket Bag’ which is still made today. In the year 2000 the signature Scottish terrier dog logo was born when a search was started for an icon to represent the playful and colourful brand. The idea was sketched up by the designers and proved success pulling on heartstrings everywhere to all dog lovers who fell for him.

Each season the small design team at Radley come up with new designs inspired from shapes, colours, trips and exhibitions they’ve been too; which then become handbags or accessories for every woman to enjoy. The colours used in Autumn/Winter 2016 handbags and purses include midnight blue, shamrock green, daffodil yellow, ruby, cobweb grey and many other vibrant and beautiful colours. These are just a select few that we think will brighten up your wardrobe.

2014 was when Radley went international with new partnerships in Taiwan, Philippines, Germany, Australia and South Africa. Each season in the year Radley come up with a collection of three including a tote bag, purse and umbrella all featuring a different scenery and colour way. This is called their ‘Picture’ bag. 2002 was when their first picture bag was launched and since then they have just created more and more that have hand drawn prints usually including the Radley Scottie appliquéd somewhere within the design.

Most of Radley products have the iconic Radley dog featured somewhere on the bag or accessory, and come in a Radley branded dust bag for safe keeping.
