This Limited edition tote bag and purse embrace full aspects of the season winter; shown through an illustration of a Christmas tree design with the Scottish terrier dog features centre stage.
Both the bag and purse are made from pine green smooth leather; a deep dark forest green which is the perfect colour for heading into fall and the cooler months. The colour is an on trend colour for the wintery seasons as seen in fashion and interior stores; the catwalk also embraces this dark green and is a go to colour for everything Christmas. Each Radley picture bag always features the appliqué technique mixed with screen printing on the leather creating a beautiful scene on the handbag.

The design was created by a guest illustrator Rachael Saunders, who returned this year to design a unique and special Christmas scene for the brand, inspired by one of her favourite festive activities. Her bold sense of texture, colour, playfulness and a passion for character design she was able to illustrate a Picture Bag that encapsulates the excitement for Christmas time and that special time of putting the tree up with your family. Radley has always been proud and supported British talent hence teaming up with guest illustrators and designers to help in the process of these picture bags.

The scene features the Radley Scottish terrier dog as the main vocal point wearing a knitted scarf perched upon a series of stacked Christmas presents all contained inside a glass Christmas tree bauble. Surrounding the bauble are a collection of more baubles including stars, bells, birds and two colourful larger baubles featuring the Scottish terrier printed on as part of the decorations design. Printed directly onto the bag and purse are Christmas multi-coloured lights and pine leaves which represent the tree itself. The colours used aren’t your typical Christmas colours but with more and more Christmas trees becoming less traditional and having lots more character; something we call a ‘designer tree’ the yellow, coral, periwinkle blue, berry pink and mint green complete the look. For the bag there are two sturdy top handles as well as a detachable/adjustable cross-body strap giving you the option of how you style the handbag. The bag is lined with a beautiful mint green grosgrain complementing the exterior; there is a single zipped pocket as well as a spacious main compartment and a detachable lanyard coin pouch. The purse also embraces all the daily essential pockets and compartments including a massive twelve card slots, an ID slot, three zipped pockets and five slip pockets; giving you plenty of storage for all your loose coins, bank notes and credit cards.

The purse has the same Christmas display design, it is large in size and features a flap over design held closed with the option of two popper studs. Both these are lovely on their own however would go great together paired with a winter wardrobe.
