Radley New Releases A/W17

You Radley London lovers will be very happy to know that we have received some of the A/W17 collection in-store and online. The autumnal colours and mix between casual and classic designs are perfect for the cooler seasons. You will see new designs as well as old favourites and a beautiful dusky pink and ash grey colour scheme have been injected into the collection accompanying the traditional palette like the tan, black and burgundy.

Also we cannot forget the autumn season ‘Picture’ bag with matching purse.  The ‘Picture’ bag and purse this year embrace the dusky pink colour which is featured throughout the collection. The ‘Picture’ range this year is called ‘Autumn Days’, because this is a limited edition bag it won’t be around forever and if you are a collector of these cute appliquéd accessories or just fancy joining the trend then you can read more about the Autumn Days Limited Edition collection here.

Radley Lovers all around will be happy to know that the ‘Pockets’ bag is back! Featured in two different sizes and an array of colours. Other popular bags that have returned include the ‘Willow’ perfect for everyday use, the ‘Pudding Lane’ and the ‘Liverpool St’ which has been adapted slightly adding a more sophisticated look for a lady who wants something classier look on her shoulder and who isn't afraid of embellishment.
The collection is about comfort and staying ahead of the curve as the rich autumn hues shine through. Radley pride themselves on using handpicked luxurious leather whether that is soft, grainy or smooth and polished; the leather is always chosen with the bag in mind and the highest quality that can be sourced.

Below we have highlighted a few of our key pieces which we think would suit you for every occasion whether that is day to day wear, nightwear or business. So keep ahead of the trends with a new Radley bag or purse, throw on a jacket and layer up then pick out an irresistible new A/W handbag from the collection below; which you could work into your work wardrobe and add one of the matching purses from the Radley A/W17 collection to complement and contrast with your new handbag.

The 'Pockets' bag is back Radley fans, we have had lots of enquiries about this particular bag and it has had so much press. So those who were asking questions and wanting to know when it would be back in stock well we can safely say it is now back in stock and featured in a variety of different autumnal colours and sizes. You can see above the beautiful colours that are in store for purchase as well as how the bag sits on the body below. A trendy new zip feature has been placed around the edges giving you a way to extend the width slightly.

Looking for a classic tote bag to incorporate into your everyday life whilst still giving off a fun vibe but staying classy for business attire; well the 'Farthing Downs' tote collection adapted slightly from the 'Arlington Street' will serve you that purpose. Available in black and grey; both these bags have beautiful on-trend rose gold coloured hardware and a super cute Dalmatian printed lining. There is the choice of two styles in the collection a long handle tote and a shorter handle cross body bag.

Buckles and metal hardware is really on-trend in the high fashion industry recently, there was always a fine line between how much embellishment should be on a handbag; but these classy minimalistic handbags by Radley have found the balance between handbag and embellishment. The 'Primrose Hill' collection is new to Radley embracing a more sophisticated look → again available in two different styles. The grey, dusky pink and black theme continues; made from polished smooth leather with a slight structured shape and tab closing mechanism featuring a metal ring finishing the bag off nicely.

Who doesn't love a stripe? Thin or thick stripes have been around as a pattern for decade’s sorry centuries; and are now making an appearance in high fashion again. Bold block colour is certainly a fashion statement piece which can be paired with busy pattern garments for a chaotic and busy look or with more subtle and plain garments to create more of an impact and fashion statement with the bag stealing the show. Above we feature the 'Loseley' which is a more subtle colour palette with dusky pink and grey hues taking the shape of two everyday handbags in two different styles. There is also the new 'Syon Park' featuring equal width stripes in a darker colour scheme embracing cross body styled bags that are slightly smaller.

I love a Good tote, and when I say ‘good’ I mean something that is large enough for everyday wear, a bag that can hold and support everything I need on a day to day basis. Now I know everybody's preference on handbags is different and we all look for different features in a bag whether you prefer small or large but personally give me a larger handbag any day. I have to have room for a few staple essentials which never leave my handbags including an umbrella - naturally because if caught in a shower I would prefer to keep dry, my purse which is usually a larger sized one as I have quite a few loyalty cards, a Phone pocket so I am not routing around for it at the bottom, earphones for when travelling, diary, bottle of water got to keep the hydration up and my phone charger. I would also need a smaller pocket if not a couple just so I can separate items like a compact mirror, mints, lipstick, plasters, nail file, hair tie, pain killers and a handbag sized perfume roll on. Now I have waffled on about what would be in my handbag I shall get to the point which is 'totes'. These Radley tote handbags above all features a main compartment and smaller pockets for carrying exactly what I would want to store inside. Each tote has been highly well made to ensure it can support your everyday essentials. Firstly there is the 'Hilly Fields' → 'Liverpool St Stud' → 'Greyfriars Gardens' and last but not least a favourite of mine → 'The Willow' which you may be familiar with already from previous seasons; just a new colour way. Even though they are all tote bags they all fit a different purpose.

Radley designed a bag called the 'Liverpool Street' which they have now adapted; so here we present the 'Liverpool St Stud'; featured below and above in the top right corner. In this collection there is a long handle tote bag as well as a smaller cross body styled bag and a matching purse. Above we have put together a small collection of bags we feel would work well into your autumnal wardrobe featuring classic hues. Tan coloured bags are easy to style and work very well with burgundy, black, green and navy. In this colour scheme there is the 'Greyfriar Gardens' cross body pouch; a small-ish bag with just enough room for a small amount of everyday essentials and perfect for throwing over your shoulder when on the go. The 'Bonnington Square' multiway is another great example of a cross body bag but can also double as a tote for wearing on your arm; another great everyday bag but more on the larger side for the girls whose handbags carry their life inside. ("I am one of those girls"). In the black, which is such a core all year round colour, we all have a black handbag don't we? one that serves us well for most occasions, a staple piece; well the 'Pudding Lane' tote fits neatly tucked under your arm without feeling bulky; it hangs down when on your shoulder and there is no fuss. It simply is a plain black soft grain leather handbag with an extension zip running around the side which gives it this cutting edge feature that contrasts well with the detachable shoulder strap that can be switched and changed with a contrasting coloured handle bought directly from Radley.

If you follow Radley and are a fan you will already know that the brand brings out each season a handbag and matching purse they like to call their 'Picture Bag'. The picture bag always embraces the season in which it has been designed for; obviously this season is Autumn! The bag features the Radley Scottish terrier dog as the main focus wearing a doggy coat and playing under a large tree with his four legged friend; another Scottish terrier. There are screen printed and appliquéd leaves falling from the tree and dropping to the ground as well as acorns and the long skyline in the background; which includes the brands birthplace. Typically Radley use colours that they have focussed on in that seasons collection so naturally the 'Autumn Days' embraces the stunning dusky pink that is highlighted throughout the collection whether the accessory is entirely that colour or the lining features the dusky pink hue.

A selection of the A/W17 Radley keyrings; beautifully made from the finest materials. There is a choice of either a metal or leather made keychain to brighten your keys up. Add the girly pink or the vibrant blue for colour making it easier to spot your keys in the bottom of your Radley handbag. Add a pooch to those keys that will make you smile everytime you pull it out your bag.

If you are in the market for a new purse whether you prefer purses small or large or just like having a coin pouch you can throw in your bag to keep coins in for a hassle free life well our 'Purse' collection will have something in store for you. Above and below we have put together a few choices in the classic black as well as the A/W17 dusty pink colour scheme. Three of the purses in each set are from the very well known 'Heritage Dog' collection; slightly different to previous Heritage collections. Instead of the appliquéd Scottish terrier on the front the purse is flat and not raised as if the dog has been cut out and then fitted into the slot again like a puzzle piece then stitched into place. The cute heart shaped coin purse which is incorporated into most Radley collections somewhere is part of the 'Oak Hill Woods' collection and simply has a gold metal cut out plaque of the Radley Scottish terrier dog on the front; perfect for storing a few loose coins inside along with the structured dog coin purse.

Well isn't this exciting not only are we stocking the 'Pockets' handbags in the small and medium size but also wait for it...(drum roll please) the 'Pockets' matching purses! Above shows the two different sizes in the black and tan but we also stock the burgundy. I feel these purses will really make a staple piece in your accessory collection this season with just enough room for everything you may need whether your someone who needs extra card slots or more compartments these purses have all that and more. Minimalistic but classic right? Something that will serve you time and time again and will even go into those winter and early spring months. I'd invest!

Above is a selection of the purses which actually match handbags in the Radley A/W17 collection. From the top left is the 'Pockets' matinee purse which obviously goes with the 'Pockets' cross body bags. → next is the 'Liverpool St Stud'. → 'Primrose Hill' is next available in the same colour scheme as the handbags embracing the same buckle closure. → And last but by all means not least is the 'Autumn Days Picture Purse' I don't think I need to go on. So if you are a matchy-matchy girl (like me) then you can have the bag and the purse and coordinate beautifully.

Right well I could talk about purses and handbags all day but I think you need time to explore the Radley A/W17 collection and come up with your own decision on the designs featured and hopefully choose your perfect autumnal accessory to go with your new wardrobe.
