#writeREDendAIDS

For a second year running, Montblanc and (RED) join forces in the fight for a HIV-free world. (RED) was founded by Bono & Bobby Shriver with one aim in mind - ending AIDS. In 2019, there are over 23 million people living with HIV that can access life-saving medication. In 2004, AIDS-related deaths were at their peak - that number has been cut in half. With support from partners and advocates (RED) has generated over $600 million for the Global Fund to fight against AIDS. (RED) has also helped fight against Tuberculosis and Malaria and support grants in Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, eSwatini, Tanzania and Zambia. Every $, £, €, whatever the currency will go to work. Over 140 million people have been supported by (RED), whether its been prevention, treatment, counselling, HIV testing or care services (RED) has helped so many people.

“Where you live shouldn’t determine whether you live”. - Bono

Last year Montblanc released the red precious (RED) writing instruments, this year, Montblanc has updated the writing instruments. Featuring silver platinum-coated tones with red precious resin accents the new writing instruments still hold the iconic Montblanc M shape. This year we have the (RED) fountain pen and the (RED) rollerball writing instruments.

In order for change to happen, we have to start creating the change.

Write (RED) end AIDS.

For every Montblanc M (RED) writing instrument or accessory sold a % will go to the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS programmes; that is enough to provide over 25 days of life-saving medication.
