Introducing Montblanc's latest collection; Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days (AW80D). Montblanc has wanted to carry on the literary heritage of the Meisterstück pens; AW80D's collection brings to life the first part of the journey, from London to Bombay via Italy and Egypt.
Featuring a cap and barrel crafted out of translucent lacquer they each have a milled pattern engraved on them. These milled engravings are key aspects of the Around the World in 80 Days journey; ocean waves, card suits and a steamboat. This 146 LeGrand Solitaire fountain pen includes an 18 K bi-colour nib with the engraving of a hot air balloon and the start and end dates of the journey (London 02.10 to Bombay 20.10). The blue translucent lacquer cap includes a platinum-coated clip that features a black lacquered ace of spades.
This LeGrand Solitaire Montblanc fountain pen will be presented inside a bespoke gift box that we can plaque engrave and gift wrap on the day of purchase. This LeGrand Solitaire fountain pen is a piston fountain pen and requires Montblanc ink to be refilled.
