This fruity half bottle of late bottled vintage port by Taylor's has been ageing in wooden casks since 2007. The ruby red coloured liquid is ready to drink without the need for decanting. The perfect accompaniment to a cheese board.
Produced from a single year and aged in vat for between four and six years. Although offering different degrees of complexity and sophistication, these wines share a deep red youthful colour and intense fruity flavours reminiscent of cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant - bottled ready to drink.

Taylor's introduced late bottled vintage ports in 1970 as a high quality, but affordable, alternative to vintage port. These LBV ports are left to age in wooden casks for longer than a vintage port and bottled 5-6 years later. This sort of port does not need to be decanted before consuming and can be poured straight from the bottle into your glass.
The fruity port is full bodied and ruby red in colour. The aromas of black morello cherry on the nose entice you to taste this wonderful drink. Your palate will be enveloped but the taste of cassis, plums and blackberries and you will be left wanting more.
This late bottled vintage port pairs well with chocolate and fruit desserts and is ideally sized to share with your significant other.
Enjoy this port straight from the bottle with your dessert or after dinner for a special evening.
