Montblanc Rollerball Pens

Montblanc rollerball pens use a ball bearing point in the tip of the refill, with a water or gel based ink instead of the viscous inks found in ballpoint pens. The ball bearing at the end of the refill allows the liquid ink to produce a beautiful free flowing writing experience for the writer, easy to use and a joy to write with. The rollerball ink tends to saturate into the paper providing a unique writing style. The rollerball refill is easy to replace by just unscrewing out of the cap. The ink is stored in a sealed refill so no mess, an ideal alternative to the fountain pen which some people find can be a little messy when replacing ink cartridges or filling from an ink bottle. Always remember to replace the cap if you're not writing for long periods of time, as the ink in the refill being liquid based will dry out if the cap is not replaced. If the cap of your pen is always placed back on it will increase the life of your Montblanc rollerball pen refill.

This serial number records when your pen was produced and which retailer it was sold to. All genuine Montblanc pens will have a serial number engraved into the ring above the clip to determine the pen's true validity.

We only stock the authentic Montblanc Rollerball refills which guarantees that they fit correctly into your Montblanc Rollerball pen. Montblanc produce two different sizes to fit their rollerball pens. The standard classic size fits all their rollerball collections except the Le Grand collection which only takes the larger sized Le Grand refill. The clips on the Montblanc rollerballs are narrow so we are slightly restricted for engraving space, but we are able to engrave a person's initials and a small name in various font choices. We can also engrave into the cap of the Montblanc rollerball over three lines so you are able to add a memorable date or occasion as well as a person's name and initials.
