Delivery

• Our couriers must have signatures upon delivery. If there is nobody in to receive the goods, the carrier will leave a card. It is your responsibility to contact the carrier to rearrange delivery. If you the customer decide to have your parcel stored in a safe place (by making arrangements directly with the delivery company) when delivered, and the parcel is damaged, lost or stolen, you will be responsible. Redirected goods to an alternative address once despatched to that of the original order shipping address can also incur a £6 handling charge by the courier.
• Our delivery services detailed below are listed to try to ensure you receive your delivery at the allocated time selected. We will despatch on time, but then we are in the hands of our couriers and therefore cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control which may result in your parcel not being delivered at a specified time. If our third-party couriers have not met the delivery time selected at the point of order, then all postage costs will be refunded.
• If you have not received your order after 14 days of placing your order you must inform us of non-delivery of goods. If after 14 days we have not been informed of the non-delivery of goods we cannot be held responsible, as the couriers we use will not allow us to make any claims after that time. Please watch for any notifications that may be sent to you by the courier to inform you of a delivery or an attempted delivery. We do not actively track each item after it has left our premises with the courier, and we are therefore unaware of a non-delivery unless you bring the matter to our attention.

UK DELIVERY

• Orders under £20 will incur a £2 postage and packing charge. Your order will be sent via Royal Mail second class post. Delivery can take up to 14 working days after posting, but please allow up to 28 days before contacting us as this is Royal Mail's terms of business.

FREE DELIVERY IS OFFERED ON ALL UK ORDERS OVER £20 - EXCLUDING HAMPERS

• Orders over £100 placed before 3pm Monday to Friday are sent by DPD, for delivery on the next working day for mainland UK only. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. If you provide an email address and mobile telephone number then tracking information will be sent to you at the time of dispatch.
• Orders under £100 are sent by Royal Mail second class post. Delivery can take up to 14 working days after posting (please note, due to strike action, delays may occur), but please allow up to 28 days before contacting us as this is Royal Mail's terms of business.¹
• We do offer a Royal Mail Tracked service in checkout at £4, if ordered before 3pm your order will leave our store on this service for a quicker delivery.

NEXT-WORKING-DAY DELIVERY - EXCLUDING HAMPERS

• Suppose you would like delivery on the next working day (Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays) for an order under £100. In that case, we offer this service at the additional charge of £6, via either DPD, Fedex or Royal Mail Special Delivery™ Next Day UK mainland. (Please note, due to post-pandemic-related issues, delays may occur).

*Please note, around Black Friday and Christmas your delivery may be delayed due to the high volume of orders.

UK Next Working Day Pre 10:30am

• If you would like delivery UK mainland Next Day with delivery before 10:30am it will be an additional £20 (If ordered before 3pm Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays).

UK Next Working Day Pre 1pm

• If you would like delivery UK mainland Next Day with delivery before 1pm it will be an additional £13 (If ordered before 3pm Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays).

SATURDAY DELIVERY

• If you would like delivery on Saturday, we offer UK mainland Next Day with Saturday Delivery between 9.00am and 4.30pm for an additional charge of £15 (excluding bank holidays). To receive a Saturday delivery you must place your order no later than Friday at 3 pm.

EUROPEAN UNION

• A flat rate of £25 per parcel is charged for shipping and takes approximately 3–5 working days. Delivery estimates vary depending on your country, and prices apply to orders not exceeding two kilos. If your order is over two kilos we will telephone or email you to give you a new quote of the shipping charge.

REST OF THE WORLD

• A flat rate of £40 per parcel is charged for DHL or Fedex shipping and takes approximately 5–7 working days. Delivery estimates vary depending on your country, and prices apply to orders not exceeding two kilos. If your order is over two kilos we will telephone or email you to give you a new quote of the shipping charge.

EUROPEAN UNION & WORLDWIDE TAX-FREE SHIPPING

• UK Value Added Tax (VAT, currently 20%) will be deducted at the point of sale for all countries outside the UK. However, as with all foreign imports, you are liable for any taxes, duties and administration charges imposed by your local taxation authority when your parcel arrives and is checked through customs. Your country's customs office will contact you directly if any duties and administration are to be applied to your shipment. You will be asked to pay these charges before your parcel is released for delivery to you. (e.g. customs duty, excise duty and/or import VAT). It is important that you check these rates before ordering.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

• We cannot ship alcohol to destinations outside of Europe.

HAMPERS

• Delivery is not offered to Northern Ireland. Free next day UK mainland delivery is not offered to hampers due to the fact that they're shipped directly from the supplier. 

BFPO (BRITISH FORCES POST OFFICE) SHIPPING

• VAT Free (VAT will be removed at checkout)
• Free Delivery (On everything)
• Select the BFPO delivery option in the checkout

Many Forces personnel buying from us have their registered address as a British Forces Postal Number, this means that when ordering from the UK you will only pay UK rates for your goods to be posted out to you, no matter where in the world you live. At Wheelers Luxury Gifts, all postage to BFPO addresses worldwide will be delivered for free, with no postage or packaging to be paid at all.

Also delivering to an overseas BFPO address means that you are exempt from paying VAT, and this value will be automatically deducted from your final cost through our ordering system.
