Montblanc's 1858 collection has taken inspiration from the iconic Minerva watches from the 1920s and 1930s. The Minerva watches were originally created for military and exploration use. Taking inspiration from these iconic watches, Montblanc's 1858 watch collection embodies the spirit of mountaineering and the excitement of experiencing nature. This blue Geosphere watch was created with the world’s Seven Summit mountaineering challenge in mind. Featuring a titanium case, this 1858 Montblanc watch features a blue calf leather strap with a Sfumato finish and white stitching. The deep blue and icy white design is reminiscent of the colours of the different glacier. The blue dial also features 2 domed globes, turning in opposite directions, that complete a full rotation in 24 hours.
