This AL-Star fountain pen has been designed by LAMY embracing a beautiful deep purple colour. The metallic finish to both the barrel and the cap add a luxurious touch to the fountain pen. The LAMY brand name is engraved onto the end of the barrel for subtle branding purposes. The cap that fits over the nib clicks into place making it secure and can be placed on the other end of the pen when you are writing. On the side of the cap there is a silver metal clip for securing into place in a pen case. The fountain pen has a grey transparent plastic grip which is carved for a comfortable feel when writing. The nib of the fountain pen is made from silver toned steel with the LAMY brand name engraved into it. There is a twist mechanism near the cone of the pen which unscrews so you can change the refill. This fountain pen is under two year warranty.
