Steiff's "Teddies for Tomorrow" range brings a new life to iconic characters by using alternative materials. Bombax the elephant is a contemporary interpretation of one of Steiff's first soft toys. Bombax the elephant was chosen to represent Steiff's company logo in 1897, which Bombax proudly wears. Bombax's raised "S" shaped trunk is a symbol of good luck to all. Bombax has been crafted out of a combination of viscose and cotton and features recycled polyester stuffing. Bombax is surface washable. This product is not a toy and is intended for adult collectors only.
