The Grand Siècle No.26 contains all the ingredients to enable it to match a wide range of refined dishes including those with shellfish, surf and turf, veal and scallops and lemon caviar. The champagne would also make a lovely apéritif.

  • Grape Variety: 58% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir.
  • Crus: An assemblage from a selection of 9 of the 17 Grands Crus.
  • Vineyards: Chardonnay: Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant, Avize.. Pinot Noir: Tours-sur-Marne, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy
  • Vintage: Assemblage of vintage years: 2012 (65%), 2008 (25%), 2007 (10%).
  • Ageing: 10 years on the lees.
  • Closure: Cork.
  • Alcohol: 12% ABV.
  • Volume: 75 cl.
  • How to Serve: Serve between 10-12°C.
  • Storage Advice: Storage advice - Store horizontally in a cool (10-15°C), dark place away from vibrations.
  • Tasting Notes: Candied lemon and fresh hazelnut aromas. The palate is silky and mineral with notes of honeysuckle, flaked almonds and clementine.
  • Pairings: Surf & Turf, Shellfish, Scallop, Carpaccio with Lemon Caviar or Roasted Veal Filet Mignon.
