Steiff teamed up with National Geographic and created a collection of special edition plush animals in support of preserving biodiversity. Steiff's Photo Ark collection is filled with a collection of wild animals that were photographed by Joel Sartore for the National Geographic Photo Ark species preservation project. Steiff's 7cm tall National Geographic lion is a reminder of how precious the African lion is and how it is severely threatened with extinction. Crafted in the finest mohair, Steiff's National Geographic lion will be presented inside a special edition gift box.

Proceeds from the sale of any National Geographic product support scientists, explorers and researchers from the National Geographic Society all over the world.
