Tasting Notes
A delicate pomegranate pink in colour, the Ruinart Rosé Champagne features faint glimmers of orange. With a persistent foam, the rosé has a sparkling, light effervescence.
A subtle and fresh nose offers an initial palate of tropical fruits like lychee and guava, and small berries like raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry. The initial bouquet progresses into notes of rose and pomegranate which complete the intense, complex and aromatic profile.
The attack on the palate is distinct and full, yet surrounded by a delicate effervescence. The taste is matched by the aromas of freshly picked berries. A combination of delightful freshness and voluptuous body are expressed by an elegant offering of mint and pink grapefruit.
From Flute to Plate
A truly festive Champagne, the Ruinart Rosé is perfect for drinking from apéritif to dessert.
This delightful Champagne will be enhanced by fine slices of Italian prosciutto. With a starter of Japanese-style salmon tataki or mi-cuit salmon, the many facets of this unique Champagne will be revealed.
For main course, the Ruinart Rosé is greatly complemented by milk-fed lamb or veal cooked at a low temperature.
For the final flourish, the rosé will find its full expression with a berry soup enhanced by a superb balsamic vinegar.
