This timeless Montblanc fountain pen has been designed to commemorate John F. Kennedy who was one of the most revered figures in modern history. He spent time in the U.S. Navy, the Apollo space programme and mostly known as American politician who served as the 35th president of the United States of America. JFK was sadly assassinated in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald who was later arrested for the crime however was never prosecuted due to his murder by Jack Ruby. This special edition fountain pen has symbolic and design references to his life and career. The pen barrel is made from Bordeaux coloured precious resin; the cap matches made from the same resin. The burgundy-coloured precious resin refers to Kennedy’s famous Ivy League style and is inspired by his time at Harvard University. There is a clip on the side of the cap for securing the pen into a Montblanc pen case or in your shirt pocket. The famous Ivy League styled 'JFK; initials have been engraved on the gold-plated clip on the side of the cap and the three rings at the bottom of the cap are a reference to his three brothers.
