Taylor’s holds one of the most extensive reserves of very old cask aged Port of any producer. This limited edition bottle of single harvest port by Taylor's has been aged for exactly 50 years and is the fifth in the series. It is from a 1970 harvest which has aged to full maturity in a seasoned oak cask. It is ready to be consumed straight from the bottle, without the need for decanting. Made from grapes from the 1970 harvest, features an intense, concentrated, flavour thanks to the ageing process. The label on the front shows you what year the harvest took place for the grapes to mature; along with Taylor's crest giving the consumer the date in which the company was established; over three centuries ago in 1692.

Brewed in the Douro Valley, Portugal; this tasteful wine has gentle aromas of singed alder giving way to a wide range of walnut husk, pistachio cream, toasted sesame and green tea finished with toffee peanut notes that refuse to break down in the mouth. Exhibits remarkable length, with ample viscosity matched by steely tension. Everything glides with grace through to the finish.
