New to the Montblanc Writing Edition for 2024 is the Jane Austen Limited Edition Rollerball Pen. This stunning new release from Montblanc celebrates one of English literature's most famous authors of the 19th Century.

The rollerball pen comes with a sandstone-grey resin barrel, to symbolise the fluting of a classical column, this has been completed with Jane Austen's signature. Homage to the characters that she created can be found on the grey-blue cap of the rollerball, this references the double-collared Regency coat worn by gentleman such as Mr Darcy in Price and Prejudice. The pen has been finished oof with a Roman Numeral engraving of XLIII on the cap ring, this is in reference to the chapter in the novel in which Elizabeth Bennet sees Mr Darcy's estate for the first time.

The rollerballs silhouette is designed to resemble a wax seal stamp. With the clip being just as unique in its design as the cap, it is shaped like a braided cord with a drawstring closure. Montblanc have designed this to resemble that of a 'reticule', this is a type of bag used by woman of the 19th Century to carry their mirror, powder and pocket handkerchief.
