This Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Rudyard Kipling fountain pen was relseased in 2019 and takes its main inspiration from Kipling's "The Jungle Book". The Montblanc fountain pen is inspired by various characters from one of Kipling's famous books, with the clip noticeably inspired by the wolf pack. The forepart is engraved with Kipling's handwritten initials R.K. The beginning and end of the poem "If" is engraved on the cap top and cone ring. The cap of this Writers Edition R. Kipling fountain pen has an intricate monkey design in yellow gold with a dark red base in precious lacquer. The 18 K gold nib is rhodium-plated and is a medium size. This limited edition is number 33 out of the 70 made since 2019 and comes in bespoke packaging.
