This limited edition Writers Edition Thomas Mann pen set by Montblanc includes a fountain pen, ballpoint pen, and mechanical pencil in a bespoke box. The design of the Limited Edition Thomas Mann takes its inspiration from the era of Art Deco – the period during which Mann was writing his extraordinary works. The interplay of the multiple layers of inlays in black lacquer symbolizes the complex relationships between the characters in Mann’s masterpiece “Buddenbrooks”. The rhodium-coated Au 750 solid gold nib is finished with a filigree engraving of the Buddenbrooks House – in memory of Mann’s birthplace in Lübeck.
