MASTERPIECES is a contemporary take on a Søren Georg Jensen piece first created in 1960.


Georg Jensen began as a silversmith workshop. The MASTERPIECES collection pays tribute to this legacy but updates the style and material to give it a current edge. When it was introduced in 1960, the centrepiece won the prestigious gold medal at the XII Triennale in Milan.


The structure of the centrepiece is in many ways an iconic example of clean-lined Danish design of the post-World War II era. As part of your table setting, it is a bold piece that is sure to become a cherished part of your family’s story.
