Description

Enjoy this delicious 2014 vintage rosé champagne with family or friends on a special occasion. This fresh Bollinger rosé champagne is salmon in colour with orange hues. Bollinger recommends that this champagne rosé is best served between 8°C and 10°C. This Bollinger La Grande Année Rosé can be drunk straight away or you can let it age in your cellar.


Specification

  • Winemaker: Bollinger.
  • Style: Vintage.
  • Grape Variety: 63% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay.
  • Crus: 19 crus : Mainly Aÿ and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir, Chouilly and Oiry for the Chardonnay. 5% red Côte aux Enfants wine.
  • Ageing: Fermented entirely in aged oak barrels.
  • Maturation: Sealed with a natural cork and cellar aged for more than twice the time required by the appellation.
  • Dosage: Moderate, 8 grams per litre.
  • Closure: Cork.
  • Alcohol: 12% ABV.
  • Volume: 75 cl.
  • How to Serve:Serve between 8-10°C. You can enjoy La Grande Année 2014 right away or choose to age it in your cellar.
  • Storage Advice: Storage advice - Store horizontally in a cool (10-15°C), dark place away from vibrations.
  • Tasting Notes: An appearance with pinkish glints. A real mosaic of fruit: aromas of raspberry, wild strawberries, cherries, etc. Notes of peach and quince complete this fruity bouquet. This wine is characterised by its creamy effervescence, splendid volume in the mouth and long aromatic persistence. Its wonderful acidity and sea-air characteristics appear alongside flavours of orchard fruits and berries.
  • Pairings: Bluefin tuna tataki with cherries and wild strawberries. Blue lobster with raspberries and wild strawberries. Roast duck breast with apple and quince compote.
