This fountain pen has been designed as part of the Joy collection by LAMY. The barrel of the pen is made from black shiny plastic featuring a red angled end to the pen. There is a matching black plastic cap which fits over the fountain pen nib and does fit on the end of the pen but not secure. On the side of the cap is a red metal clip perfect for securing in a pen case and complementing the red tip to the end of the pen. The fountain pen is a calligraphy fountain pen which is the reason for the length and it features a calligraphy fountain pen nib made from steel which has a slight angle to the tip and is 1.9 mm in width. Around the nib of the pen there is a black carved plastic grip making it more comfortable when writing. You can unscrew the grip which reveals where you place the ink cartridges or piston converter. The LAMY brand name is carved into the end of the pen for subtle branding purposes. This fountain pen is under two year warranty.
