The rollerball pen is made from glossy red plastic featuring a matt black plastic cone surrounding the pen nib. The pen has a grip around the nib part which is a hexagonal carved shape to add a comfortable feel when writing. There is a cap to cover the pen nib to stop it drying out which is made from the same red plastic which has a silver metal clip on the side for securing in a pen case, the cap can be put on the other end of the pen when you are writing. The LAMY brand name has been carved into the pen barrel towards the top for subtle branding purposes. There is a twist mechanism near the cone of the pen which unscrews so you can change the refill.
