This rollerball has been designed as part of the Scala collection by LAMY embracing a sophisticated style. The barrel of the pen is made from polished black lacquer with a polished silver metal trim. There is a matching cap that fit over the nib of the pen and can be placed on the end of the pen when writing. On the side of the cap there is a thin silver clip for securing into a pen case or shirt pocket. The LAMY brand name has been engraved on the side of the clip for subtle branding purposes. The cone surrounding the rollerball nib is polished silver and it unscrews so you can replace the refill when it has ran out. On the day of purchase the rollerball will come presented inside a LAMY presentation box and is under a two year warranty.
