Both the cap and barrel are intricately decorated with a delicate leaf motif, individually lacquered in varying shades of green to evoke the lush gardens of Verona. Among the foliage on the cap are two solid Au 750 gold doves, symbolising the purity and devotion of the star-crossed lovers, while the barrel features a solid Au 750 gold full moon inlay with a textured finish, representing the moonlit nights that shaped their story. Completing the design, the Montblanc emblem is crafted from mother-of-pearl and set within red jasper, reflecting the passion of their enduring romance. The handcrafted solid Au 750 rhodium-coated medium nib is beautifully engraved with the initials 'R' and 'J', honouring Romeo and Juliet.
