Montblanc have designed and crafted beautiful special edition red writing instruments to celebrate the life of Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn Monroe has become an American cult icon for acting and modelling through her years (1926 - 1962) and her reach and fame increases still to this day.

The Marilyn Monroe Montblanc ballpoint pen design was inspired by the iconic Ferragamo high-heels which Marilyn wore showing her femininity and sensuality.

The colour on this wonderfully bright writing instrument was inspired by the colour of Marilyn's chosen red lipstick created by the huge cosmetic brand Max Factor. Marilyn's fondness of pearls and jewellery has been delicately shown with the design and pearl at the end of the clip of the ballpoint pen. The ballpoint pen also features Marilyn's signature at the bottom of the pen and the Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap.
