This year Montblanc's Writers Edition line of writing instruments has been dedicated to the wonderful Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Throughout Sir A.C. Doyle's writing career he wrote 56 short stories and 4 novels. Sir A.C. Doyle was the inventor of the renowned Sherlock Holmes series. As well as a renowned writer, Doyle served as a ship’s surgeon and practised medicine for close to ten years on land before settling as an ophthalmologist in London.
