Steiff's collaboration is with one of the most iconic characters from the comic strip Peanuts, the lovable creation of Charles Schulz’s Snoopy, an anthropomorphic beagle. Snoopy is a loyal, imaginative, and a good-natured beagle who is prone to imagining fantasy lives. In this version he lives the life of a Beagle Scout first seen in the 1974 comic strip. Snoopy as a “Beagle Scout” is a pun on Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America. We are delighted to see his return to the Steiff range, celebrating Beagle Scout’s 50th anniversary. This Snoopy by Steiff is limited to 1,974 pieces, and is made of a blend of mohair and cotton. And just as Beagle Scout has become Snoopy’s favoured character, we are sure he will become yours too.
