Discover a rich history dating back to 1928 with Colibri.  The brand's story begins with Julius Lowenthal, who created the world's first working semi-automatic lighter in 1928. After their London warehouses are destroyed in a bombing raid during the Blitz, Colibri launches the Stormgard lighter - designed for soldiers in the field. The 60s brought new innovations to the brand with the release of the Molectric - the world's first non-battery electric lighter - in 1967, as well as the titular Golden Gun from the 1974 film The Man With The Golden Gun. The 2000s only brought further leaps of innovation and invention for the brand, with the introduction of more world-first lighter technology and continued development at the forefront of the industry.
