The beautiful mechanical pencil is part of the Guilloche collection designed by Graf von Faber-Castell, made from cognac matte brown precious resin featuring a wave line pattern engraved into the material. The mechanical pencil features a rhodium-plated top which twists to release the lead at the bottom of the pencil which has been encased in a rhodium-plated pointed shell. There is a handy solid metal spring-loaded clip attached to the side of the pencil which is perfect for slipping into your shirt pocket or Faber pen case. The Graf von Faber-Castell brand name has been engraved around a ring featured above the clip part of the pen for subtle branding and authenticity. The manufacturing process involves over one-hundred steps, with most of them being carried out by hand.

There is a small selection of fonts that will contain different character designs, and you may not like or approve of some of them. For example, in one of the fonts - 'Victoria' - the letter 'V' looks similar to the letter 'D' because of the italic serif design. Once an item has been engraved we cannot refund or exchange it, because we will not be able to resell an engraved item.
