This beautiful Grappa fountain pen as part of the Cult Collection by Montegrappa embraces both historic traditions and the aesthetic of Steampunk. The materials used reminiscent the distilling vessels and include metals such as copper, stainless steel and brass. The pen features a traditional fountain nib made from 18K gold embracing a medium size nib. Copper is very on-trend recently and highly sort after so add this unique fountain pen to your collection, something different for pen lovers. The exterior of the pen barrel embraces a beautiful hammered texture in the copper with a smooth copper grip. There is stainless steel running periodically up the pen as well which contrasts well with the copper, this included a long industrial strip with screws running along it. There is a matching cap for covering the nib with for protection, this mimics the barrel and has a small paper clip style design to it, which also embraces the copper colour and is made from steel. The clip has the Montegrappa logo design engraved into it for subtle branding purposes.
This is a limited edition pen so only so many were made, the precise number of each model being 1,912 which relates to when Montegrappa was founded in 1912 in Bassano del Grappa, hence the name of the pen. On the day of purchase the Grappa fountain pen will comes packaged in a bespoke special limited edition industrial science bottle, which has the Montegrappa brand name printed on the front in copper coloured ink. You can see the pen through the bottle because of the bottles transparency. The bottle sits in a wooden display box to support the pen and its packaging.
