Introducing the new Great Characters ballpoint pen by Montblanc, honouring the three-time Heavyweight Champion of the world, Muhammad Ali. The champion's legendary moments in sports and civil rights activism made him one of the most influential athletes and humanitarians of the 20th century. This ballpoint pen has been crafted out of precious black resin, and has a barrel that's been made to look like it's been covered in the boxing tape that is used by athletes, with the top half that has been inspired by a boxing sack, featuring a gold-plated clip that's in the shape of a belt with 'Ali' engraved onto it. The pointed cone at the bottom is engraved with four lines representing the ropes of a boxing ring. The inscriptions on the cone refer to Ali's victory at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome and his first heavyweight world championship he won in Miami in 1964. The details of his victory, namely having won in the seventh round by technical knock-out, can be found on the ring of this ballpoint pen.
