This year Montblanc's Writers Edition line of writing instruments has been dedicated to the wonderful Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Throughout Sir A.C. Doyle's writing career he wrote 56 short stories and 4 novels. Sir A.C. Doyle was the inventor of the renowned Sherlock Holmes series. As well as a renowned writer, Doyle served as a ship’s surgeon and practised medicine for close to ten years on land before settling as an ophthalmologist in London.
This limited edition 1902 rollerball pen is honouring the year of the first publishing of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Limited to 1902 pieces, this luxurious rollerball pen features a cap and barrel crafted out of dark brown precious lacquer. The cap and barrel have each been decorated with a plaid pattern and embellished by a metal grid. The platinum-coated clip has been designed in the shape of a magnifying glass. Lurking in the clip is the silhouette of a hound in Superluminova™ inspired by the cover of The Hound of the Baskervilles. This limited 1902 rollerball pen can be refilled with Montblanc rollerball pen refills.
This dark brown, precious lacquer rollerball pen will be presented inside a bespoke Montblanc gift box. We can plaque engrave and gift wrap the presentation box on the day of purchase. Your Sir Arthur Conan Doyle rollerball pen will also be issued with a 2-year international warranty/care booklet.
