The dark brown Chinese lacquer rollerball pen is has been designed as part of the Atelier collection by S.T. Dupont. The pen features a traditional rollerball nib that is encased in gold running partly up the pen until the band where the S.T. Dupont name is featured. The barrel of the pen is made from dark brown Chinese lacquer applied in up to six layers usually done with a sponge to create the cloudy marble effect giving the pen a retro style. The pen has a cap that needs to be returned to the pen when not in use to stop the ink drying out, this cap matches the barrel's Chinese lacquer aesthetic and there is a lacquer leaf engraved into the pen to authenticate the Chinese lacquer. There is a gold clip attached to the side of the cap running vertically down it, which features a pyramid design which is attached to a gold ring at the top where another letter 'D' is featured. The rollerball pen comes in a bespoke presentation box and comes with a 2-year International guarantee card that is filled out on the day of purchase.
