On the 14th of February 2018 Wheelers Luxury Gifts Limited took over the running of the Pen Sense online business. The Pen Sense shop in Nottingham has now closed, but gifts can be browsed at Wheelers in Loughborough and continue to be bought from the Pen Sense website online as it will continue running and be operated and maintained by Wheelers.

What Pen Sense Sell

The Pen Sense online business specialises not on only in writing instruments, but also clothing accessories leather belts and cufflinks, casual accessories featuring money clips and key fobs.

Brief History

Pen Sense began in 1980 based in the heart of Nottingham selling luxury, but with a focus on affordable gifts featuring writing instruments and leather gifts. The Nottinghamshire Country Cricket team featuring Eddie Hemmings officially opened the Pen Sense shop in 1980. In 1996 Pen Sense established a Montblanc presence with German's prestigious luxury goods brand, a brand that we are very at home with at Wheelers. Like Wheelers, the Pen Sense shop was also fitted with an internal Montblanc designer store featuring flooring, cabinets and display areas all for the presentation of Montblanc luxury gifts.

Wheelers Luxury Gifts will remain as our leading luxury establishment in shop and online, while we will be investing our resources into the Pen Sense business online to sell an area of more affordable luxury gifts. Some of the more affordable brands include Conklin, Cross, Diplomat, Faber-Castell, Fisher Space, Lamy, Rotring, Sheaffer, Tombow and Troika. And the more expensive  luxury gifts will be presented by Montblanc, Caran d’Ache, Graf von Faber-Castell, Montegrappa, Parker, S.T. Dupont, Visconti, Waterman and Yard-O-Led.
