Our selection of Montegrappa rollerballs are hand-made at their Bassano del Grappa factory in North East Italy by master craftsmen. Each Montegrappa rollerball features a strong and durable clip adorned with their iconic rotating sphere on the end. Designed to help keep clothes snag free, this little sphere also helps when sliding the pen in and out of your pockets. All our Montegrappa rollerball pens come in their own presentation boxes complete with two year international guarantee booklet.
Montegrappa rollerball pens use a ball bearing point in the tip of the refill with a water or gel based ink instead of the viscous inks found in ballpoint pens. The ball bearing at the end of the refill allows the liquid ink from the rollerball pen to produce a beautiful free flowing writing experience for the writer, easy to use and a joy to write with. The rollerball ink tends to saturate into the paper providing a unique writing style. The rollerball refill is easy to replace by just unscrewing out of the cap. The ink is stored in a sealed refill so no mess, an ideal alternative to the fountain pen which some people find can be a little messy when replacing ink cartridges or filling from an ink bottle. Always remember to replace the cap if you're not writing for long periods of time, as the ink in the refill being liquid based will dry out if the cap is not replaced. If the cap of your Montegrappa rollerball pen is always placed back onto the rollerball pen it will increase the life of your Montegrappa rollerball pen refill.

Montegrappa have designed a collection of high quality refills for their rollerball pens. The different sized refills are designed specifically for a variety of the Montegrappa pens and are designed to fit comfortably in the barrel. The ink inside is fluid and fast-drying when on the page. The rolling ball on the tip of your refill works beautifully with the ink to create a smooth free flowing release of ink for neat lines on the page. Always replace the cap back onto your rollerball pen when not in use as this will prevent the liquid ink from drying out and increase the life expectancy of your Montegrappa rollerball pen refill.

Montegrappa Engraving
Our in house team of engravers can personalise your Montegrappa rollerball pen for you. We can engrave a person's name and initials into the pen cap with a selection of fonts for you to chose from so creating your own unique pen. The clip on the Montgrappa pens is quite narrow towards the end of the clip, however the top of the pen clip is wider and here we can engrave up to three initials to personalise your pen in a discreet fashion.
We can engrave a silver or gold plaque for longer personal messages which we attach to the front of the Montegrappa presentation box lid.
